How It Works
Intuit has created a site where profiles of local businesses can be created. Fans of the business, which might include employees, customers, vendors or other community members, offer a brief comment about why they love the local business.
In March, every entrepreneur who enters their own business is awarded a $100 Google AdWords grant, making it even more attractive to get involved.
Five local businesses will be selected to receive a grant worth $5,000 for their business. From these, one business will be selected by guest judges to receive an additional grant worth $30,000 – making the total prizes awarded in March $50,000.
